So much of the holiday experience in Sri Lanka depends on getting the right driver. We were lucky to have Suresh. He was an excellent driver. We had a full 9 day itinerary that took us into the highlands of Ella via Sigiriya and down through Yala and on to Tangalle. Suresh was informative and helpful. He always greeted us with a smile, even at 4am! He is a credit to Ceylon Best Tours. An additional mention goes to Dilshan for helping us book everything including onward journeys to Hiriketiya and Colombo. Thanks for a great trip.

We had a great 9 day tour with our driver Suresh. He had great recommendations for places to stop and restaurants. He was always on time and drove very safely. He was friendly and looked after us. Thank you for a great trip.

My friends and I did a 9 day tour of Sri Lanka with Suresh and he was absolutely wonderful. He is an excellent and safe driver, with a sweet disposition and great sense of humour. He picked us up from Negombo and our first stop was Sigiriya. The remainder of our itinerary was Kandy, Ella, Yala and Tangalle. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble for Suresh; he made sure we got to all our activities on time and booked everything for us that he could with his network, meaning we had better experiences than if we had settled for what we found online ourselves. We also put him on the spot every day with picking restaurants to eat at and can confirm he has excellent taste! Consider yourself lucky should you have Suresh as a driver!

We started off in Colombo to take care of some family affairs and then moved to Kandy, visiting family, Sigiriya and Dambulla. Then we moved to Nuwara Eliya, visiting family, and it was fairly cool and rained a wee bit. We then moved to Galle via a stop at the elephant orphanage at Udawalawe. We spent a few days there, did a bit of shopping and watched sunsets, and then made our way back to Colombo and the Galle Face Hotel, which was a serene ending stage. We had Supun, and he was a smiling, naturally affable and excellent driver. He got us to where we wanted to get to. Always willing to help and to gently suggest when our initial thoughts may not have been the best. We all felt safe with him throughout the journey and all fell asleep whilst he was driving. That's one of the best compliments we can give. Top marks to this driver.
