Sanju has definitely made the difference in our trip and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better driver. When we arrived, we had an idea of what we wanted to see but he helped us plan every day to make the most of this beautiful country and everything it has to offer. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy it so much if it wasn't for his suggestions and recommendations, from restaurants, tours, waterfalls, photo spots and hidden gems. During our two week stay, we travelled across Sri Lanka with Sanju Travels and everything was so well organised, well in advance, that we didn't have to worry about anything. Janith, our driver, is a lovely person. We felt safe during the whole time with him. He was constantly helping us, giving us additional ideas about the trip; his knowledge of the country is excellent and it was so interesting to learn new things! Sanju is super friendly and a very good driver. We had a long trip from Negombo to Unawatuna with him. He drives very smoothly and safely, we felt comfortable at all times. The car was also very new. In general, Sanju runs a very professional company. He always wrote back immediately and also organized a very good driver for us for another trip from Sigiriya to Colombo in no time. We can recommend the company 100% and would book a driver here again immediately.

Sanju is a very good choice for a driver. He drives carefully and has no problem stopping when you need a break or want to take a picture. He speaks good English, knows all the interesting places on the route and can offer you advice on what to see. He is also a friendly and funny guy.

I booked a 16 day trip around Sri Lanka with my girlfriend and two other friends, having found this company through its good reviews. The agreed deal was 150 km included per day, a professional English speaker, and service first with payment afterwards. We started having issues on the second day. Sanju began insistently texting and calling me demanding an advance payment of 75% after the first day, on the basis of website terms and conditions which, after a long discussion, he acknowledged had been changed months after my booking. He pushed me all day long for the money despite the poor service. The driver was unable to speak English, argued about following the agreed itinerary even while staying within the 150 km daily limit, and at one point left us without service in Kandy. Late one evening the owner phoned me for twenty minutes threatening to terminate the contract immediately and begin legal action unless we paid the 75% he had decided on. The driver then refused to take our friends to their accommodation ten minutes away and they had to take a tuk-tuk. The following morning we moved to another company, and there was a further confrontation before the matter went to a police station over payment. The rest of the trip with the other company was relaxed. Everything I have described can be supported with documentation and pictures.
